Cables For Less is an Internet based company that specializes in selling home audio/video, networking, and PC cables and accessories. We are located in Hendricks County, west of Indianapolis, 1 mile North of I-70 on State Road 39.

We are currently looking to interview individuals to fill the following position.

Full Time Regional Sales Rep

We are looking for a person with previous inside/outside sales experience that is interested in growing our business. The individual must be motivated and self-driven, capable of setting and meeting goals and not afraid to work hard. This job is 75 percent outside sales and 25 percent inside. We are an Internet based business and all work is done from the phone or computer in our offices; there will be little to no travel involved. The individual must be able to generate their own leads and handle customer accounts. Applicants must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Prior sales experience is a must, knowledge of consumer electronics/computer networks is a plus. Please do not apply for this position if cold-calling potential customers isn't a strong point, as this will be a large portion of this job.

Duties:

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
