Back Order Policy

Cables For Less keeps over 95% of the products we offer in stock.

We also sometimes ship direct from our manufacturers located throughout the U.S. So we most likely have what you need ready to ship. However, if a product on your order is backordered, we will exercise the option of complete or partial shipments, depending on the total cost of the order:

Complete - If the total order cost is less than $100.00, the order will be held until all items are available to ship as one unit. If you would like us to ship the items that we have in stock at the time of your order, you may be responsible for the cost of the second shipping charge.

Partial - For orders with a total cost of $100.00 or more, the order will ship as the items become available, with a maximum of two shipments, and the second shipment being UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, at our discretion. You will NOT be charged any additional fees if we choose to ship your items in partial shipments.

While there may be some exceptions such as including on your order an item that is properly displayed on our site as out of stock, we will follow the above shipping policies for most orders.

If there is no mention of whether a product is in stock or not, chances are that the item you are looking at would be drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. If it is imperative for your order to ship the same day you place it, (i.e. an overnight order) please call or email us to check actual availability.

Special orders or backordered item(s) are normally received within 24-72 hours (time can vary). You will be notified of your special order or backorder status within 48 hours of your inquiry. We will send you an update via email.

Bear in mind that if you see a product, and it shows that it is currently in stock, yet when you order it you find it is back ordered that one of three things has happened,

1.) You ordered multiple items (i.e. we have 5 In stock, you ordered 10)

2.) Another customer ordered the item(s) before you finished the checkout process.

3.) There was an error in our inventory count. - We apologize, but all of the above have and will happen.
