Shielded plenum Cat6 has an aluminum (AL) foil shielding that helps to prevent (EMI) electromagnetic interference and eliminating cross-talk. The plenum jacket is fire safety rated for use in air plenum spaces such as below raised floors and/or above suspended ceilings.
