Made of 28 gauge pure copper utp cable this category 6a cable is slim compared to most other cat6a cable and therefore more flexible and easier to work with. Capable of 10G Ethernet speeds these cat6a ethernet cables are ideal for the home or office. CAT 6a cable is noticeably faster and is ideal for 10 gigabit Ethernet networks. While standard category CAT6 speed can also reach 10G, it often loses speed more quickly than CAT 6A cables do as the cabling gets longer.

So I purchased some cheap cables from amazon and got what we paid for, they were no faster than regular cat6 and in fact had a few that were bad right away with packet loss and errors. We then decided to try a few from different sources, cables for less being one of a few we tested, we were very happy with these and came back to purchase more. I've personally installed dozens now and am very pleased overall. As thin as these are they still perform as advertised with speeds well above most.
