COVID – 19: Note regarding changes to operations:
Shipments are typically arriving as scheduled however there are no guarantees at this time which means there is no refunds or compensations made for late arrivals etc. Here is the statement from UPS:
Suspension of Service Guarantee
Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments from any origin to any destination. For all U.S. origin shipments, the Service Guarantee suspension became effective as of March 24, 2020.
During this unprecedented time Cables For Less is taking all the recommended precautions very seriously and in fact we had already initiated a plan to send employees home to work prior to any closures being mandated.
Being deemed as an essential business we are proud to see our employees play a small role in the fight as they continue to make custom cables for many hospitals across the country. In talking directly to our customers we have learned that some of our cables are going directly to the front lines of the pandemic.
As of 3/16/2020 here’s what has changed:
Local Pickups are no longer possible, our doors will be locked until further notice.
All areas are wiped down several times per day with disinfectant.
Everything coming into the building, mail, boxes etc. sit for 48 hours before being touched.
As a result there may be slight delays in processing / shipping orders.
There may also be delays with UPS as well as USPS as regular guarantees do not apply at this time.
All Cables For Less employees who are able to work from home, (roughly 75%) are doing so at this time.
