Mode Conditioning Patch Cable

This page lists all of our OM1 and OM2 fiber optic mode conditioning patch cable products. Mode conditioning patch cables, or MCP cables for short, are used to connect singlemode and multimode cables. If you try to connect multi mode to single mode fiber patch cables without mode conditioning cables, it causes a kind of interference known as differential mode delay or differential mode dispersion. Thanks to their mode conditioning properties such as the multimode fiber plants in one end, these conditioning patch cord assemblies are capable of reducing the effect of DMD interference. We offer a variety of mode conditioners as well, such as either 50/125 or 62.5/125 fiber patch cable plant ends and ST, SC, or LC mode conditioning cable solutions so you can find the perfect fiber optic patch cables for your needs.
