Singlemode Duplex Fiber

Singlemode

This page lists our collection of singlemode optic cables. The difference between single mode optical fiber and multimode cable products is that single-mode types, such as an OS2 type, have lower attenuation plus a narrower core, which makes them better suited for longer distances, while their individual light path supports higher bandwidths. However, SM transceivers tend to be expensive compared with MM equivalents.
